Demonstrated progress in broadening participation, through a variety of effective and innovative approaches, is important to the UMN MRSEC. The Center is executing a multi-faceted plan to broaden participation of groups traditionally underrepresented in STEM, particularly by broadening applicant pools. Example activities are shown below, which are open to all qualified applicants
