What is American Indian Materials Week?

The MRSEC, in Collaboration with the University of Minnesota Circle of Indigenous Nations offers the weeklong STEM summer camp, American Indian Materials Week.

Participants will have the opportunity to experience hands-on lab activities in a variety of science and engineering fields, while gaining exposure to the University and the academic and cultural resources available to them.

There is no fee for the program and travel assistance may be available for students outside the twin cities metro area.


Topics will change annually, but may include:
IRG-1: Magnets: From Motors to Disk Drives
IRG-2: Making Silver Nanoparticles
IRG-3: Polymer Day: You Make it, You Break it
